Hi! My name is Paulina Czupryna.
Here’s a space for me to share my work!
I’m currently looking for positions! Contact me here.
At the moment, I’m a graduate student at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism with a specialization in magazine and a concentration in data journalism.
Throughout my career, I have interned at the City of Chicago Press and Communications office for Mayor Brandon Johnson, written for Concierge Preferred Magazine (Ateema Media and Marketing) and partnered with Allied Global Marketing to expand entertainment at universities.
Allied Global Marketing
Throughout my undergraduate career, I partnered with Allied Global Marketing to distribute entertainment news at Roosevelt University. This included promotions such as ticket giveaways, screenings at the Chicago film festivals, and interviews with directors and actors, including “Saltburn's” Emerald Fennel, actor Dave Franco and WWE wrestler John Cena.
Ateema Media & Marketing (Concierge Preferred)
At Ateema Media & Marketing, I wrote for the magazine and newsletter: “Concierge Preferred.” My responsibilities included editing, writing and contacting Chicago businesses, event coordinators and employees to distribute Chicago news. “Concierge Preferred” was frequently distributed in Chicago hotels and tourist sites, with a team that annually organizes the city’s Hospitality and Tourism Summit.
The Torch
At The Torch, Roosevelt’s student-led newspaper publication, I began my journey as a staff writer, followed by roles as digital content editor and managing editor, and ultimately directed as editor-in-chief in my senior year. As EIC, I rebranded the newspaper, introduced audio journalism opportunities, partnered with external and institutional organizations and hosted university events, including Roosevelt’s first Spring Dodgeball Tournament.
